Dr Ivan Menon has over twenty years of experience working in the health and disability sectors. He is a registered psychologist, member of the APS and certified member of the American Board of Hypnotherapy and NLP. He has successfully delivered sophisticated performance measurement systems and analytical models to support executive decision-making and is highly skilled in synthesizing information and framing key issues.
Ivan spent his initial years working as a psychologist providing assessment, critical incident intervention, program development and measurement in alcohol and drug treatment as well as teaching in a tertiary setting. He then spent 15 years working within the Western Australian Government designing, applying and facilitating the delivery of process measurement and people management solutions.
An experienced facilitator, Ivan has managed teams, coordinated working parties and steering committees. He has participated on State and National committees and working groups. He has also led organization wide initiatives, annual reporting, performance metrics implementation and services satisfaction surveys.
Ivan has experience helping clients with a full range of mental health issues, work and life challenges including anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-harm, psychosis, anger and aggression, dependency issues, domestic violence, marital discord, work conflict and performance issues. He is a versatile and insightful practitioner who tailors his interventions to a client’s specific needs, resources and life circumstance for maximum impact.
