Cancer Council – Girls’ Night In
Women have never needed an excuse to get together, but if ever there was one it’s this. Hosting a Girls’ Night In during October is a great way to gather your friends and raise vital funds to help Cancer Council beat women’s cancers at the same time. Getting started is super easy. Here’s how it works:
Register your event
Just pop your details into our form to register your event. This sets up your personal fundraising page to share with your friends and keeps track of their donations. It also lets us stay across the total funds raised by women having a Girls’ Night In like yours all over Australia. It’s incredible what we can achieve when we get together.
Your host kit arrives
Once you’ve registered, keep an eye out in the mail for your FREE Host Kit. It’s packed with plenty of planning and fundraising tips, plus inspiring ideas to help you start dreaming up your own event. Also remember this website is a great place to get started with plenty of tips, advice and resources.
Plan your event
Ideas for your Girls’ Night In are only limited by your imagination! Decisions. Decisions… If you decide to have a theme – will it be a clothes swap or a pamper session? A dinner party under the stars or just a really good gossip through an entire movie? Think about what your friends might like doing best. You might even choose to surprise them with something outside the box! Our ideas & inspiration and planning tips pages might come in handy when planning your event.
The big night
See all your wonderful efforts come to life and have an unforgettable evening with your friends! Just don’t forget to bank your donations afterwards. The sooner you bank your funds, the sooner they can be put to work to help beat women’s cancers. Plus, if you bank your funds before November 14th, you could win an amazing prize. Banking is super easy by logging into your personal fundraising page and submitting the donations. Alternatively, pop into your local bank with the deposit form found on the downloads page and your donations in hand.
